The Bears last night successfully completed the transfer of Tom Denton from Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee. After weeks of negotiations, the transfer has been completed, with Tom signing late last night. Ronnie Glavin said "Tom's a big one in every sense of the word for us. He was unfortunate that the circumstances changed so much at Huddersfield since he was signed by Stan.."
However he's done brilliantly for us in the loan spells last year and we really are delighted to get him back. I think it shows the intent of the club to press on now and get a really good season under our belts". Pete Bevils, CEO added "Ronnie identified Tom as an almost 'must have' signing if we are going to continue the progress as a club. I think a two year contract which we have awarded Tom shows our commitment and intent to making things happen here".
