| Wakefield | 0 | vs | 0 | Bamber Bridge |
A well earned point.
Wakefield stood stern in this clash against Bamber Bridge and earned a point towards safety, although they still dont look like scoring.
The Bears defensive partnership of Micah Bleau and Declan Normaschild were solid at the back and kept Bridge to long shots, the only blot on the copybook was the late sending off of Bleau for two yellow cards, the second for dissent despite the club's anti-dissent policy.
Wakefield started the game without Henson, Forrest, Marsden, Hitchings & captain Grant, but nobody let the club down and their were also excellent displays from Harding & Miles Smith in midfield.
Joe Smith came in for his first start in a while and looked like he had never been away, and it was him who had most of Wakefield's shots, despite them not working the Bamber goalkeeper.
Wakefield entertain Warrington this coming Tuesday at 7.45pm kick off and then face their 6 pointer next Saturday away v Cammell Laird.
